Pay it forward

One day I was about to leave the house to report for work when I heard somebody shouting “payong repair”. I remember I have one that needs repair. The old man hurriedly approached me after I called him. He said it would cost me P30. While watching him doing his trade, I noticed that his slippers are almost worn-out. I realized I have some pairs of slippers that are still in good condition. I decided to give it to the old man and he was so grateful for it.
