If stakeholders really want to help Yolanda survivors, let them redeem their dignity by giving them work. It will take some time before they can fully recover from the tragedy but by providing them job it’ll slowly give them and their loved ones something to hope for. There are hundreds of jobs (which may include Web To Print publishing) that would surely fit the survivors’ skills and abilities. Various organizations may not give them donations forever. As the saying goes, “give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day; show him how to catch fish, and you feed him for a lifetime.” I hope more companies will open their doors to typhoon survivors so they could start a new life after the storm.
